Sometimes after Lindy or Grammie has left our house and gone home for the day after being here, Luke really starts to miss them. Today, he really missed Lindy when she left. Missed her super duper bad. I think it hit him especially hard because she forgot to beep her car horn at him when she pulled out of the driveway (for my kids, this is a MUST if you even stop over). He was super crushed and there were many tears.
Ella, seeing that he was in distress, ran into the other room while I was trying to comfort him. She popped back out about 30 seconds later. She told him she had drawn this picture of Lindy so he could hug it for a while and think of her.
So sweet.
