High Wire Unicycle at COSI!

Ella was super brave recently and rode the high wire unicycle on a family date day at COSI.  She was so very proud of herself.  If you watch closely in the video, you can see the person who strapped her in talking to her and trying to make small talk but she would have none of it.  She had her game face on and was ready to roll.  You can see her game face when she passes me by on her ride.  You can also see Aron in the video (off to the right in the blue shirt above the giant red poster).

I was trying to get a good new profile pic

But I failed. Many times over, I failed.

Christmas Day 2012

After the kids ripped into their Santa gifts, we went to my Mom and Dad's house.

Spoiled by Santa?  Yes.

Ninja-ing with Myles and Chase

Goofing with Myles and Chase.

Spoiled by Grammie and Poppy?  Double yes.  (As a side note, check out Luke.
Both feet are off the ground yet it looks like he's running.  He's
like a deer running across an open plain.  Or something like that.)

The kids built a fort out of the boxes opened from Grammie and Poppy.

Robin and her prized possession: a stuffed crow.  Creepy?  Why, yes.  Yes it is.

Christmas Eve 2012

This Christmas Eve we went to a candlelight service at our church then came back and opened some presents at our house.  Some quality family time for us and it was wonderful.

Ella took this one.

Luke took this one.

Just need to photoshop in Aron and it's perfect.

Kiki's gifts were new food and water bowls that the kids picked out for her.

Luke got a bazillion Pokemon cards.

Ella got a Bath and Body Works gift card and a pink kitty
lip gloss holder.

Aron got a box of underwear.
Yup.  Underwear.

And a Starbucks gift card.  Heck yeah!

Aron made them pose in front of the tree

He tackled her then paused to take a picture.

Jammie Day

Aron's Mom (aka Lindy) decided to buy all of her grandchildren matching jammies this year for Christmas.  The result was super cute.  I know they're not the best quality pictures but this was the closest we got to good ones (darn camera).

Meet McKenna!

Meet the latest addition to our family, McKenna.  Grammie is a sucker for a cute face and when that cute face decided she needed an American Girl doll she knew better than to ask me (non-sucker).  So here you go...tons of pics taken by Ella (unless she's in the pic).

Chase-ing Me Around Town

(I actually wrote this a few days ago but I did it on Ella's kindle and accidentally erased it somehow.  Stupid kindle.)

Chase and I got to hang out about a week ago or so.  Both Ella and Luke were in school that day so it was up to me (and only me!!) to entertain him.

First we went to story hour at the library...

McDonald's for lunch...

Came home and he helped put stamps on my Christmas cards and seal the envelopes...(sorry if your card was sticky or the stamp was a little off kilter)

Look at the look on Kiki's face.  Can you tell how much she
*cough cough*
loves a little boy with sticky candy cane covered fingers??

Then we went back to McDonald's for sundaes with Ella, Luke, and our friend, Landon.
