Most of last week was spent trying to find just the right facility for Mom to transition to after being at the LTAC. We settled on a facility closer to home which will be nice for my Dad since he visits daily. She should be in this rehab nursing home for about a month then will be able to go home.
HOME!
The kids have already gotten the ok to call her on her cell phone now that the trach is out (oh, did I forget to mention THE TRACH IS OUT!!!). If you have her number, I'm sure she wouldn't mind a call or two :)
