Good behavior in school is important and I believe in rewarding it. At the end of every school year, the kids get an item of their choice at the store if they have behaved well. (click the link for past trips to the store). For Ella, that means she needs green cards all year and for Luke, it means no notes sent home from pre-K. It doesn't matter how long it takes to pick it, each child can take as much time as they want to make their selection. Here we are at Target for about an hour and 45 minutes.
