Pre-K stops for no one!

Goodbye carefree days of toddler-ness! These days Ella has a bunch of homework and she has no more time for play. She has homework every time she goes to Monday school (usually it's in the form of 2 pieces of paper with lines on it and she's supposed to practice writing the letter of the week and her name).

Recently, she also had a take-home project for pre-k. She was given a blank white paper bag and was told to decorate it, stuff 2-3 objects in it, and prepare to tell her class about the stuff inside. Back in my day we called that a little thing titled "Show-n-tell."

She had a blast decorating the bag in her own orderly way (don't you love how the dots are organized around the flowers and the large E?"), painting the flowers, and putting the ribbon through little holes in the top (another small but crucial step for the Ella Beautification/World Dominance Project that some of you may remember.).
What did she put inside, you ask? I guess you'll just have to ask her to show and tell you.
