Lookee Mary...it's rare but it happens...


This picture is for my former clerical, Mary. She knows that I tend to kill plants (I can't help it. It's something I inherited from my mother) but somehow I got this African violet to bloom. I'm still not quite sure how I did it. I think there are even 3 or 4 blooms on it. I can see Mary getting a little misty right now...

wow. now all you need to do is get your craft (or lack thereof) on and try to paint that pot.

Um, I kinda tried. It's a bad angle to see the craft...which is probably a good thing.

omigosh, it's alive, alive i tell you!!! I would like to congratulate you on the successful bloomage of an african violet! just keep watering from the bottom, and rock on girl!!!!

You thought I'd kill it after a couple weeks. I showed you! I didn't even trim around the bad spots on the leaves or anything--they're all still intact! Eureka, Mary, I done did it! (That saying was just for my Dad--he should be proud how I git r done).
