Hoops For Him--Luke edition

We tried our local Hoops for Him basketball organization again this year.  It's a Christian-based basketball program.  Very laid back and emphasizes teamwork and encouragement.  The kids tried it a few years ago, and Luke decided to give it a whirl again this year.

I can't say that he's the most spectacular and athletic basketball player you've ever seen but you can't tell that by Luke's attitude when playing.  He's the kid that constantly high 5's the other ones and is the first one to chant his friend's name to encourage them to make a basket.  He's Mr. Encouragement which is true to his every day self.  Proud of that fella!

He took a shot at the hoop...

Before every game, there is a bible lesson for both teams in the center of the court.

Getting instuctions from Coach on the throw in.

Sizing up the competition and encouraging friends.

Mommy's little superstar!

That's awesome! Reminds me of Sam! He's the one who always leads the chant. Way to be a team player, Luke!!
